The company is optimistic on predictions global demand will be strong, with Bloomberg New Energy Finance predictions the market will rise 29 per cent to 52 gigawatts this year, the website reports, with Sunpower at full capacity looking for sales of 1. 2-1. 3 GW. “Our share has been in single digits for a while and demand for the last 24 months suggests that we can expand share,” Sunpower chief exectutive Tom Werner said, according to Renewable Energy World. “Our five-year plan is to at least double market share.
